Living in Howard County, MD, Tim has had a passion for photography for many years. During his early adult life he started with a 35mm camera shooting various subjects in both B&W and color slide film. When digital arrived, Tim was an early convert due to his background in computers and technology.

Tim now shoots with Canon equipment using a couple high end Canon bodies and numerous Canon lenses ranging from Macro through Telephoto. He prefers the outdoors thus the weighting in his portfolio. His preferred subject of choice would be a panoramic subject.
In that regard, Tim was an early adopter of the GigaPan robotic mount (www.gigapan.org) and currently owns two of them. Some of his panoramic photographs can be seen on Gigapan.org. One of his Azalea panoramics was recently put on display at the Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh, PA. In addition to the GigaPan, Tim uses professional specialty panoramic equipment provided by Really Right Stuff (www.reallyrightstuff.com). For stitching, he uses a software product called PTGui.

Besides panoramics, Tim likes to experiment with close-ups and uses some unique focus stacking software and tools for stitching multiple close-up photographs together to obtain one final image totally in focus.
